Dr. Aidmar Wainakh is a researcher specializing in Product Cybersecurity & Privacy at Continental since 2022. He previously held a position as a researcher at the Technical University of Darmstadt, where he successfully completed his PhD as part of the interdisciplinary Research Training Group "Privacy and Trust for Mobile Users." During his doctoral studies, Dr. Wainakh focused on exploring the intricacies of privacy within distributed social networks and distributed machine learning, specifically in the context of federated learning. Additionally, he gained valuable experience in computer vision while working at Fraunhofer IGD. Dr. Wainakh has shared his insights in several publications in the fields of network security, privacy, federated learning, distributed systems, and computer vision. Presently, he actively engages in research endeavors centered around Security for AI and AI for Security, alongside his involvement in various automotive privacy initiatives.
