The Pop in Your Job – What drives you? Why do you love your job?
In my job, I am constantly putting technology to new uses, and break down the barriers between automotive, cloud/IT technology and other mobility domains like mobile industrial robots. Detecting what works well in one domain, and putting that knowledge to good use in other domains, in new prototypes and future system architectures, is what drives me and provides value to the people I work with.

Company

Bosch Engineering GmbH

Founded in 1999, Bosch Engineering GmbH is the development and engineering partner of the mobility industry for customer-specific software and system solutions. The portfolio includes the development, integration and engineering of software and hardware for mobile applications. The spectrum ranges from embedded systems to cloud services. As a 100 percent subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH, Bosch Engineering relies on the technology and service company’s tried-and-tested, industrialized large-scale series technology for the connected hardware. The engineering department combines the customer-specific software and system solutions with the modular system of Bosch hardware. The company accompanies its customers from the first idea to the production-ready product and during operation in the field. Based on the defined functionality, the specialists develop the corresponding software, integrate it into the overall vehicle system in conjunction with proven Bosch hardware components and accompany their customers until verification, validation, and certification of the solution. In field operation, Bosch Engineering supports its development partners in the ongoing further development of their systems.
