Mujdat Soyturk, Professor at Marmara University, received his Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees in Computer Engineering in 2007 and 2002 respectively from Istanbul Technical University. His research interest and projects focus on V2X Communications/Connected Cars, Intelligent Transportation Systems, IoT, and Cyber-Physical Systems. Statistical analysis and performance evaluation of the various network types are other skills. He is directing Vehicular Networks and Intelligent Transportation Systems (VeNIT) Research Lab (www.venit.org), which he founded in 2013. He carried out several EU framework research projects in Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe. He has many academic publications, including ITS and V2X. He served as a member of the Editorial Board, TPC, and as a reviewer for many high-ranked journals and conferences.

From research and prototyping to product development and branding, we build custom solutions for real world problems including but not limited to transportation systems, smart manufacturing, data infrastructures and retail. BigTRI creates a value chain between academy and industry through close collaboration. The company has services and innovative solutions for C-ITS applications and testing, network monitoring, AI/ML-based data infrastructures, edge&cloud computing, image processing, and smart manufacturing.
