Matthias Eng has been working at Volvo Cars since 2015. In his current role as Product Owner - AD safe Experience, he is responsible for the driver interaction concept and safety argumentation to ensure an overall safe experience with autonomous driving. That includes the operational safety concept, verification and validation strategy and in-operation monitoring of autonomous cars to ensure safety before launch as well as during operation. Matthias Eng holds a PhD from the Chalmers University of Technology.
