Indu is a specialist in systems, software, algorithms and perception for self-driving cars. At AEye, she works with the company's Tier 1 partners to bring on-time, automotive-grade autonomous vehicle perception systems to market. Previously, as a senior software engineer at Delphi/Aptiv, she played a major role in bridging ADAS sensors and algorithms, and extending them for mobility - helping to set system functional requirements for SAE Level 3 & 4 Automated Driving Vehicles, developing future sensor requirements, and developing camera models for the automated driving simulation platform. Indu is a frequent industry speaker and author, as well as the founder of Women in Autonomy, a forum created to educate, equip and empower women building autonomous technologies across industries. She holds both a BS in Technology in Computer Science and an MS in Computer Engineering from Stony Brook University.
