Vincenzo Ricciardi received in 2014 the Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Salerno (Italy). He began his research activity on hybrid powertrain simulation with Magneti Marelli (Bologna, Italy) in 2015. He was then employed as Marie Curie Fellow at the TU Ilmenau (Ilmenau, Germany) until 2020, where he received the PhD degree in Automotive Engineering. His research focused on model-based development of vehicle dynamics control functions, real-time HIL verification and field validation. In his current role at Honda R&D Europe (Offenbach, Germany), he oversees the implementation of combined simulation techniques for early verification of automated driving functions.
